UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: Infinity des Lumières, the region’s largest immersive digital art center, today hosted renowned experts in art, design and fine crafts at a networking event organized in partnership with the Institut Français du Savoir-Faire (INMA) and the National Association of Living Heritage Companies (ANEPV). The event brought together various stakeholders in a common vision to promote connection through innovation in art and heritage, with a focus on the potential of the craftsmanship industry in the GCC region.
The Institut du Savoir-Faire Français (INMA) is a public utility association that promotes French know how, locally and internationally, by supporting companies labeled Living Heritage Companies and managing the Living Heritage Company (EPV) label. This prestigious and powerful government certificate was created in 2005, to promote French companies that embody the essence of French know-how.
The president of INMA, Luc Lesénécal, declared: “By providing all its support to companies involved in living heritage and crafts, INMA is fueling strong economic growth by relying on initiatives such as the Export Recovery Plan led by Business France.
The 1,371 EPV-labeled companies are brought together by the National Association of Living Heritage Companies (ANEPV), which contributes to their growth and visibility, everywhere in France and abroad. They are divided into Tableware, Culture & Communication, Gastronomy, Architecture & Built heritage, Fashion & Beauty, Furniture & Decoration, Leisure & Transport, Industrial equipment, Medical and mechanical.
President of ANEPV, Tristan de Witte, explained: “The know-how sector is an important contributor to the French economy and to the country’s international reputation, since 80% of EPV certified companies export their products, generating a total cumulative turnover of more than 8 Billions of Euro’s.
